Si vous recherchez un logement charmant et abordable à Epernay, La Petalerie est un excellent choix. Avec ses hébergements confortables, son magnifique jardin et son emplacement idéal, c'est l'endroit idéal pour explorer les célèbres maisons de champagne de la région et profiter de la campagne française.
Pas de place de parking dans la rue à l'arrivée, il faut donc chercher une place ailleurs (mais gratuite partout)

Et nos chiens ont également été chaleureusement accueillis.
L'enregistrement a été un peu chaotique car nous sommes arrivés presque en même temps que les autres clients et ils étaient clairement les premiers arrivés, les explications dans notre chambre ont donc eu lieu assez rapidement. Pas vraiment relaxant après 7 heures de route.
Mais après le déchargement, nous nous sommes détendus dans le jardin et avons dégusté une bonne coupe de champagne. (Une planche de fromages ou de charcuteries peut également être commandée jusqu'à 22h30)
Chambre (appartement) très spacieuse, propre et confortable, et joliment meublée avec une kitchenette comprenant un réfrigérateur, une bouilloire et une machine à café (cette dernière peu conviviale si vous n'êtes pas familier avec le système).
Le lit était parfait et merveilleux pour dormir pour moi, mais beaucoup trop mou pour mon partenaire.
Dommage que nous n'y soyons restés que du dimanche au lundi, et que la chambre soit côté rue, car à 5h30 du matin nous avons été réveillés longuement avec beaucoup de bruit par le(s) camion(s) poubelle. Et cela, avec de nombreuses heures de route devant nous, n’était pas très agréable.
Le petit-déjeuner devait être pris dans le jardin et était bien préparé. Mais avec 13° degrés à ce moment-là, j'avais vraiment trop froid pour en profiter. Le buffet posé sur une table entre notre table et celle des autres convives avait tout ce qu'on peut imaginer en petites portions (assortiment de viande, baguette, assortiment de fromages, miel, confiture... café, thé, jus de fruits) et chacune un gâteau au chocolat et un croissant.
Je reviendrai ici !
